New at Mouser: Renesas Electronics RRH47000 CO2 Sensor Module for Smart, Industrial, and IoT Applications

by gabi

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, is now shipping the RRH47000 CO2 sensor module from Renesas Electronics. The RRH47000 is a high-accuracy, single-channel, non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) module for reliable CO2 monitoring and high-quality metrics to improve air quality in industrial building controls, HVAC, indoor air control (IAQ), smart cities, factories, and appliances, demand-controlled ventilation, air purifiers, wireless access points, and IoT applications.

The Renesas Electronics RRH47000, available at Mouser, features an efficient design with automatic baseline calibration (ABC) for measurement from 0ppm to 5000ppm, with an integrated MCU for processing and output, combined with a single-channel non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) CO2 sensor with an integrated humidity and temperature sensor, featuring ±3.5% relative humidity (RH) sensitivity for accuracy. With a wide -10°C to + 50°C operation range, the RRH47000 eliminates the need for additional compensation components, making it ideal for applications that must meet standards like California’s Title 24, RESET Grade B, WELL, UBA, and ASHRAE 62.2.

Mouser also offers the Renesas Electronics RRH47000-EVK evaluation kit for the RRH47000 CO2 sensor module, enabling simultaneous carbon dioxide (CO2), temperature, and humidity measurements via the RRH47000 daughterboard. The Renesas Electronics RRH47000-EVK includes a USB-C connector for interfacing with computers running the intuitive evaluation software (ESCom board) and a PMOD pin connector for connecting with MCU evaluation kits. The user-friendly software GUI simplifies sensor data visualization and supports all operational methods for Renesas environmental and flow sensors, making the kit ideal for comprehensive sensor evaluations.
