Now available at MSC Vertriebs GmbH are Hirose’s 2 and 3 positions of the DF57 series of headers, sockets and crimp contacts to meet the requirements for smaller and better performing connectors.
The connector has been designed with space saving mind, it only occupies 18 mm² or 23 mm² approximate board space for the two and three contact position respectively. The height profile measures 1.4 mm. The power performance is not compromised by the small size, an impressive 2 amp current rating per contact is realized. High reliability is guaranteed with the “Swing Lock” ,which is offering a unique double locking mechanism featuring an tactile click sensation to confirm correct mating. The connection can withstand a minimum of 5 N of cable pull force.
Durability is achieved with 30 mating cycles.
