Torex Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President: Koji Shibamiya, hereinafter referred to as “Torex”) is NGK Corporation (Head office: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Taku Oshima, hereinafter referred to as “NGK”). In collaboration with us, we will exhibit a compact power module sample which can be processed through high temperature surface mount with using TOREX power management ICs and NGK “EnerCera” series batteries at CES 2020 (January 7th to 10th, 2020 at Las Vegas in the USA).
By combining the characteristics of NGK “EnerCera” batteries which are high capacity with low resistance and surface mounting capability with high temperature reflow process and the characteristics of Torex power management IC’s which are ultra-low power consumption and ultra-small and thin packages, we realized a very small space from the battery to charging control circuit including the power management ICs. It enables us to provide a reference design which is optimal for IoT devices and Smart Cards.
We will exhibit this module sample at the booth of TOREX and NGK in CES2020.
