Renesas Scalable AI/ML Kits, Now at Mouser, Accelerate Edge Application Design

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, is now stocking the RA6M3 AI/ML and RA4E1 AI/ML reference kits from Renesas Electronics. These kits are complete reference solutions designed to simplify artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technology integration into edge and endpoint systems. Based on the RA6M3 and  RA4E1 32-bit RA microcontrollers, the kits enable rapid development of real-time analytics, audio and vision applications.

The RA6M3 AI/ML and RA4E1 AI/ML reference kits, available from Mouser, were designed to address engineering and product development challenges commonly faced by system designers. Each kit offers multiple interfaces to operate as a central node for data collection from various sensors for real-time analytics, audio or vision-driven AI/ML applications. The RA6M3 reference kit includes six Pmod connectors, and the RA4E1 kit has three. Both kits feature Can FD, USB Type-C™, Segger J-Link® debug port, and a camera parallel port. The RA6M3 kit also adds a camera module and Ethernet port for additional connectivity. An onboard MEMS tracking device with an integrated temperature sensor and two MEMS microphones enables positioning and audio recognition applications. A TFT module with resistive touch provides a human-machine interface (HMI) and is used in application examples.

The AI/ML development kits are fully compatible with the Renesas Flexible Software Package (FSP) and are supported by Reality AI Software for Real-time Analytics and the Renesas Ready Partner Network for specific use cases. The kits include application examples to help new users get started, and the available ecosystem and AI/ML software enable them to develop their own solutions.
