This step marks Demmels arrival into the world of operating systems, as the company combines its well known slim, robust design and ease of use with the powerful i.MX8M Plus by NXP. With the F-Series on the other hand, the popular and time-tested iLCD JPro technology has also received an upgrade. It comes not only with a vastly faster processor (hence the name), but also with higher resolutions, optically bonded displays and a convenient micro USB connector. In sum these improvements make for a smoother development workflow and a visual appearance that is worthy of the label “high-end”.
iLCD Linux is a new line of intelligent displays that feature a fully-fledged and modifiable operating system. These displays have all the hallmarks of the earlier Java-powered series, such as the thin form-factor, varied I/Os and excellent display quality, while offering the full range of possibilities of an OS.

The super-fast 1.8 GHz quad core processor (i.MX8M Plus by NXP) contains dedicated GPU and VPU subsystems which enable efficient 3D rendering and seamless video playback.
