Belden Inc., a global leader in signal transmission solutions for mission-critical applications, is launching its latest comprehensive WireNET portfolio for studio and office networks at IBC 2019 in Amsterdam.

Applications include Ethernet BASE-T protocols from 1G, to the upcoming 2.5G and 5G, and up to 10G; and Multimedia applications, namely HDBaseT. Belden offers a Networking solution for Category 5e /6 /6A /7 /7A UTP and Shielded systems including a comprehensive cable managed OS2 and OM3/4 fiber portfolio.

The new Belden WireNET portfolio covers a range of cables, connectivity and hardware that can be combined to create complete Local Area Networks (LAN). Belden’s well established networking cable portfolio has been restructured in system series connectivity through warranted channel certification.

Copper
The Belden WireNET solution is a complete package, built around the existing Belden cable portfolio, which encompasses both copper and fiber cables. In copper, Belden offers many systems with different performance levels to suit specific studio and/or office requirements. It includes both a complete UTP and Shielded range of cables and connectivity.

CAT6A UTP includes tool-less jacks that offer quick and easy termination, while CAT6/5E UTP jacks use a Belden standard 110 tool for 180 and 90 degree applications. The WireNET portfolio also includes a range of patch cords, including Belden’s competitive 6-color full UTP and Shielded ranges with a 20-Year WireNET system warranty. It is completed with a number of patch panels and faceplates to suit various applications.

Fiber
Fiber solutions include cables and patch cords from the Belden FX@EASE system, supported by new NN-series fiber patch panels with cable management features such as radius limiters, strain relief, angled entry point and DT type splice trays within the 20-Year WireNET system warranty. Benefits include reduced design complexities, quick installation and increased flexibility.

To complete the WireNET portfolio Belden has included a number of cabinets and wall mount boxes, as well as Power Distribution Units (PDUs).
