For more flexibility and efficiency: Omron‘s MOSFET relay series with first T-type circuit structure

by donpedro

More efficient, faster and smaller versus durability and safety: Combining these parameters poses major challenges for system designers and manufacturers. Omron‘s G3VM series, with hundreds of different models to choose from, is designed to help system designers and manufacturers respond flexibly to all requirements. The series is available here.

Omron‘s G3VM-21MT is the world‘s first MOSFET relay module with a Ttype circuit structure. With this circuit structure, it is now possible to run the leakage current in a solid-state relay towards zero (max. 1pA), thus improving the reliability of the test equipment. In addition, the integration of longlife MOSFET relays reduces downtime for maintenance.

The series includes the extremely small VSON package G3VM61UR1 with low output capacitance and low forward resistance, which enables the particularly reduced design. It also scores with a high temperature tolerance from -40°C to +110°C. It is mainly used in semiconductor test and measurement technology, communication technology and data storage.

The SOP4-Pin Package G3VM351VY convinces by its stability at a load voltage of 350V, a continuous load current of 110mA and the dielectric strength up to 3.75kV. This makes it suitable for use in industrial and safety applications as well as for power circuits and battery-powered (entertainment) devices. The insulation distance of only 5mm allows positioning in a particularly space-saving manner.
