Farnell attended the 2020 ‘Accelerating Growth Conferences’ for EMEA and the Americas, hosted by Tektronix, in Portugal and Portland respectively across January and February. The conferences were attended by leading partners to learn, network and strategise for continued growth and partnership as well as to celebrate the success stories of 2019.
At the EMEA conference in Portugal, Farnell representatives met with their colleagues at Tektronix and other channel partners to reflect on the past year and look ahead to 2020 to ensure continued excellence.
At the Conference award ceremony, Farnell received the Business Excellence Award in the New Product category. The award recognises the great results Farnell achieved with its teaser campaign and product launch of the 3 Series MDO and 4 Series MSO oscilloscopes from Tektronix in 2019.
Philippe Pichot, Tektronix EMEA’s Distribution Sales Director, said: “Last year Farnell planned and executed a global pre- and post-launch campaign for the Tektronix 3 and 4 Series oscilloscopes. In Portland, the ‘Americas Accelerating Growth Conference’ included educational, interactive and hands-on training sessions in which upcoming new products were discussed. Attendees also collaborated on product deep-dives and shared best practices and tips.
The conference concluded with an awards ceremony to celebrate 2019 performance, at which Farnell was recognised as Partner of the Year in the Revenue category and Farnell’s Tom Robinson won the Winner’s Circle award from Keithley for outstanding individual sales performance.
