The embedded platform MSC Q7-MB-EP3 from MSC Vertriebs GmbH enables fast developments of innovative embedded systems based on the new Qseven™ module family MSC Q7-TCTC-FD. Like the power saving Qseven™ modules MSC Q7-TCTC-FD featuring a 70 × 70mm form factor which are offered not only for commercial but also for the extended temperature range of -40 to +85°C, the baseboard is also available for an extended temperature range . The full featured baseboard is ready-to-use for small and medium production quantities and can save the customer extensive in-house development.
The 148 × 102mm compact embedded platform MSC Q7-MB-EP3 offers a selection of important interfaces defined in the Qseven™ specification version 1.20. Five USB 2.0 ports (two external), a serial interface (D-Sub connector), Gbit LAN, 2 × SATA and optional HD audio in addition CAN signals are available via header pins. For the integration of an industry display, the embedded platform provides a LVDS and a backlight interface. The board integrates an 4/5 wired touch controller for the connection of a touch screen.
