Altus Group Ltd, leading supplier of capital equipment to the electronics industry, is delighted to announce the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the company’s strategic growth throughout the UK and Ireland.
Joe Booth, previously Altus’ Director of Business Development and Marketing takes over the reins from his father Richard Booth who now holds the position of Chairman Altus/Danutek Group. As Chairman, Richard will continue to be actively involved in Altus’ business providing invaluable expertise and support having worked within the industry for more than 40 years.
Richard Booth, Chairman Altus/Danutek Group said: “It’s certainly a proud moment for me and as much as it will be difficult to take steps back from Altus Group Ltd, I am really excited for Joe. I am looking forward to transition my role into supporting our other sister companies in Europe as my role changes in our organisation.
Joe Booth, Altus CEO added: “I couldn’t be happier to reach this milestone for our company and our family as the formalities of the transition are coming to fruition.
“The transition so far has gone as well as we had hoped, and I am delighted that our team can continue to call upon Richard’s wealth of experience whenever it is needed.
“Although the economic and political landscape are less than certain, we have never been more confident that the future of Altus Group Ltd is bright, and we want to show long-term commitment to our partners that we are here to stay.
“It’s a time of celebration and reflection of how far we have come since the organisation was founded way back in 2001 and also a chance to look forward to what the next 20+ years has instore. We have some great foundations to build on and I am pleased to say we are in a great position moving forward. With a young and dynamic leadership team in place we will further enhance all aspects of our customer’s journey and continue to make Altus the trusted partner of UK electronics manufacturing industry.”
Richard concluded: “Looking back at the company journey so far, I couldn’t have asked for more really. We have been blessed with great customers throughout, and a growing list of late, as more manufacturers buy into our focus on support.
“We have also been very fortunate with our partners supplying us with innovative technology to make our lives and sales efforts much easier as they move from unknown brands to dominant global positions. I would like to give credit to the exceptional team we have created at Altus Group. Our team of highly dedicated engineers have been the backbone of our offering, and together with the new management team the company can be taken to new heights.
