Advantech’s MIC-732D-AO NVIDIA Isaac Nova Orin AI Developer Kit, Now at Mouser, Accelerates Time to Market for AMR Applications

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, is now stocking the MIC-732D-AO NVIDIA® Isaac Nova Orin™ AI developer kit from Advantech. The kit is designed as an open-frame variant of the MIC-732-AO AI inference system, also available to order from Mouser. Both the MIC-732D-AO developer kit and the MIC-732-AO AI inference system can form the center of an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) AI system. The MIC-732D-AO AI accelerates time to market for autonomous mobile robot (AMR) applications, including smart warehousing, retail maintenance, high-efficiency manufacturing, and precision agriculture.

MIC-732D-AO developer kit

The Advantech MIC-732D-AO developer kit, now available at Mouser, features the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin with up to 275 trillion operations per second (TOPS) and exceptional processing capabilities. With eight GMSL cameras, the MIC-732D-AO enables 360-degree vision in robots – an essential feature for real-time situational awareness and decision-making. The development kit also includes 3D LiDAR, which supports accurate depth perception and improves navigation in complicated environments. 2D LiDAR increases sensing capabilities by capturing intricate surface details. The developer kit is an open-frame, fan-based system and shares the same I/O design as the MIC-732-AO, offering designers greater flexibility when creating thermal solutions and applications. A wide range of I/O options improve scalability, including 10G LAN, CANBus, and IMU and wireless connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, 4G/LTE, and 5G.

With NVIDIA Nova Orin, developers can build AMR solutions using a single platform. The NVIDIA Nova Orin offers two 2D LiDARs, one 3D LiDAR, four fisheye cameras, four stereo cameras, controllers, and communication all in one system. The MIC-732D-AO AI development kit also supports the NVIDIA Isaac Robot Operating System (ROS2).
