The new IP20-rated modular plug is typically used in compact cabinet applications in automation and network environments. Ideal for fast (4 pos.) and gigabit (8 pos.) Ethernet applications, the Industrial Ethernet field-installable RJ-45 modular plug 45° features a two-step locking mechanism (jack and supporting frame) for reliable connections in harsh environments: a metal-lance lock with the jack and the optional supporting frame offers a secondary locking.
