Swissbit, a leading provider of storage, security, and embedded IoT solutions, is proud to participate for the first time in Identity Week America 2024, held September 11–12 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. The company will showcase its innovative iShield Key authenticators, highlighting the critical role of phishing-resistant hardware security keys in an era of exponential increases in credential exposures and data breaches. Identity Week is renowned for gathering top experts in the identity sector to foster innovation, open up new perspectives and highlight more effective identity solutions. Swissbit will also be actively involved in the conference program, with IAM technologist Chris Collier participating in three sessions.
Swissbit’s presentation will highlight the iShield Key Pro, its flagship product in the iShield Key series, which was engineered to enhance online account security with exceptional hardware authentication features. The iShield Key Pro stands out from typical FIDO security sticks by supporting a broad range of security standards, including FIDO2, HOTP, TOTP, and PIV. Its unique ability to serve as a physical access control tool further distinguishes it in the market. With the upcoming adoption of the FIPS 140-3 standard, it ensures the highest level of cryptographic security.
The iShield Key is listed on the IUT list to comply with FIPS 140-3 Level 3, providing robust and phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication for U.S. federal agencies and government entities.
As Claus Gruendel, General Manager Embedded IoT Solutions at Swissbit, states, “Swissbit is leading the digital transformation in safeguarding digital identities and transactions. Our presence at Identity Week underscores our commitment to FIDO2-based authentication solutions in North America. We enable our customers to implement zero-trust security and phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication. This event will be a catalyst for Swissbit in setting new benchmarks and delivering pioneering solutions. We will lead the FIDO market by being the first to introduce FIPS 140-3 and the only FIDO2 security dongle for both logical and physical access control.”
Exhibition, panel discussion, and stage presentation
Swissbit invites attendees of Identity Week to visit Booth #1028 on the exhibition floor to explore the future of hardware authentication and discover how Swissbit can assist in implementing robust security frameworks within their organizations.
Additionally, Swissbit’s IAM technologist Chris Collier will participate in the conference program three times: on September 11 at 10:35 AM in the Seminar area for a lecture titled “Fortifying Digital Security: How FIDO2 Shields Against the Perils of RockYou24” and at 11:20 AM in Theatre 2 for a panel discussion on “Navigating the Future of IAM”.
Furthermore, on September 12 at 12:10 PM, he will be part of a roundtable entitled “Exploring the Next Decade of MFA: Emerging Technologies and Strategies”.
