The new Mini-ITX CPU board KINO-DAL from ICP Deutschland impresses primarily with its power-saving built-in SoC and a large number of serial interfaces.

The Intel® Pentium® N4200 or Celeron® N3350 processors of the Apollo Lake generation manage both performance and a low thermal dissipation of only 6 watts. At the same time the KINO-DAL is equipped with six RS-232 and RS-232/422/485 as well as nine USB 2.0/3.0 interfaces. These can be used flexibly for the connection of various serial devices, for example, in the production machines. A PCIe x1, a PCIe Mini Card and an M.2 slot are available as extensions. Optionally, the KINO-DAL offers a 3G/LTE microSIM and a microSD holder as well as an eMMC 5.0 slot for up to 32GB additional memory. As standard a 12VDC voltage input is available on the CPU board, alternatively an extended voltage input of 9~30VDC can be selected. In addition, the KINO-DAL supports three different independent display outputs from VGA and LVDS in HD quality to HDMI in 4K UHD resolution. The power-saving serial miraculous interface KINO-DAL joins the series of the newly released Apollo Lake boards from ICP.
