The MYC-LR3568 SoMs are designed around the high-performance, low-power quad-core Arm® Cortex®-A55 processor RK3568 from Rockchip. The cost-effective modules deliver reliable and efficient performance in personal mobile internet devices, Internet of Things (IoT) gateways, industrial control, and facial recognition systems.
The MYIR Tech MYC-LR3568 SoMs, now available at Mouser, integrate four power-efficient Arm Cortex-A55 cores, a 3D GPU, and a 1TOPS NPU. The modules’ memory configuration includes 2 GBytes of LPDDR4 RAM, 16 GBytes of eMMC Flash, and 32 KBytes of EEPROM. The MYC-LR3568 SoMs offer a range of peripheral and I/O signals through a 381-pin expansion interface with an LGA package. The SoMs support various video codecs, including 4K 60fps H.265/H.264/VP9 decoding and 1080P 60fps H.265/H.264 encoding, ensuring high-quality video playback and recording. Featuring a compact form factor of just 45mm x 43mm, the MYC-LR3568 SoMs are suitable for applications that require high performance in a small package. The MYC-LR3568 SoMs support a working temperature range of -40°C to 85°C (industrial grade) or -20°C to 70°C (extended), allowing for use in industrial automation and other harsh conditions. The system-on-modules are compatible with Linux and Debian operating systems.
The MYIR Tech MYC-LR3568 development boards, also available from Mouser, offer a complete evaluation and prototyping platform for the MYC-LR3568 SoMs. The boards are equipped with two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 interface, dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, and two CAN interfaces, with an integrated Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® module for wireless connectivity. The boards also feature a diverse set of multimedia interfaces, such as HDMI, Mini-DP, MIPI-DSI and LVDS display interfaces, along with a MIPI-CSI video input interface and audio capabilities.
