Compact, high-resolution and a sophisticated cooling and mounting concept characterize the new EPIC Embedded Board NANO-GLX from ICP Deutschland. Another major feature is its AMD Power, which is integrated in the Dual Core GX-210KL CPU. The low waste heat of 4.5W offers optimal conditions for the development of thermally demanding embedded systems in industrial automation. Up to 8GB DDR3 or DDR3L SDRAM provide sufficient memory. The combined cooling and mounting plate allows a fanless operation and at the same time a flexible installation through numerous holes on all four sides. Two independent displays can be connected via a VGA, a LVDS or HDMI interface, the latter offering a resolution of up to 4K UHD due to the integrated AMD RadeonTM R1E GCU. In addition, numerous interfaces are available such as two GbE LAN, four USB 2.0, two USB 3.0, one RS-422/485, five RS-232, two SATA 6Gb/s and one S/PDIF audio. The NANO-GLX can also be expanded via a full-size PCIe slot using PCIe or mSATA modules. The embedded board is equipped with an internal 12VDC power connection and can be operated in the temperature range of 0~60°C. In addition, passwords, digital keys and certificates are protected on the hardware side by the optional Trusted Platform Module (TPM).
The NANO-GLX is available from ICP in batches of 10 in an environmentally friendly “ECO” packaging with an attractive price-performance ratio.
