This webinar will cover the requirements and tradeoffs of running uClinux on the SmartFusion customizable SoC, based on ARM’s Cortex-M3 processor. Several demonstrations will be shown including a Qt-Embedded graphical interface implementation using a soft-ip LCD controller in the SmartFusion FPGA fabric, a 4-wire SPI LCD demonstration, and additional demonstrations of networking and Linux shell capabilities with uClinux. The demos will be shown on the Emcraft SmartFusion board (www.emcraft.com) and on the Microsemi A2F500-DEV-KIT. This presentation is targeted at SmartFusion customers who are interested in running uClinux and want to see what is possible with this solution.
