Now at Mouser: Analog Devices’ ADAQ7767-1 μModule DAQ Solution for Fast Development of Precision Data Acquisition Systems

by gabi

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components™, is now stocking the ADAQ7767-1 μModule DAQ solution from Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI). The 24-bit precision data acquisition (DAQ) μModule system enables the fast development of compact, high-performance precision DAQ systems. The ADAQ7767-1 is ideal for electrical testing and measurement, condition monitoring for predictive maintenance, universal input measurement platforms, audio testing, and other applications that require high-precision data acquisition.

The ADI ADAQ7767-1 μModule DAQ solution, now available at Mouser, combines signal conditioning, conversion, and processing blocks into a single system-in-package (SiP) configuration. The ADAQ7767-1 includes a fourth-order, low-noise, linear-phase anti-aliasing filter (AAF) to protect the signal chain against high frequencies and out-of-band tones, as well as a low-noise, low-distortion, high-bandwidth, gain-selectable analog-to-digital converter (ADC) driver. Additional features include a high-performance, medium-bandwidth, 24-bit Σ-Δ ADC with a programmable digital filter and a low-noise, low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator. The 24-bit precision DAQ μModule system also includes an optional linearity boost buffer to improve signal chain linearity further.

The ADAQ7767-1 supports a range of input types, including unipolar, bipolar single-ended, pseudo-differential, and differential signals. Designed in a 12mm × 6mm, 84-ball CSP_BGA package with 0.8mm ball pitch, the ADAQ7767-1 is ideal for multichannel applications. The ADAQ7767-1 offers significant space savings with a footprint eight times smaller than that of a similar solution with discrete components. Three pairs of pin-selectable gain settings allow for a wider dynamic range and improved signal chain noise performance, especially with lower amplitude input signals. With the ADAQ7767-1, users can choose the input amplifier that best suits applications requiring high input impedance.

The ADAQ7767-1 μModule DAQ solution is supported by the ADI EVAL-ADAQ7767-1 evaluation kit. The kit is used alongside downloadable evaluation software to configure the features of the ADAQ7767-1 and display the conversion results in the time and frequency domains.
