Two versions of the modules are available: the WBZ350PE with an onboard antenna and the WBZ350UE with a U.FL connector for an external antenna. Both versions simplify the process of adding wireless capabilities to applications, saving time and reducing RF-design costs. The WBZ350 modules feature an ultra-low-power 2.4 GHz transceiver that supports Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) 5.2, IEEE® 802.15.4, and Zigbee 3.0 connectivity. The WBZ350 modules protect applications with hardware-based security, as NIST-compliant authentication and secure boot ROM ensure only trusted software is able to run.
