The event will be held November 1-2 at the Joseph B. A United States Government computer security standard used to accredit cryptographic modules, FIPS 140-2 is required by Veterans Administration hospitals. Healthcare providers outside of the federal government view FIPS 140-2 as an increasingly relevant and desirable standard. The presentation describes what is contained in the standard and how Wi-Fi products are tested and certified as compliant.
