Industrial Shields Signs Distribution Agreement with Sfera Labs

Industrial Shields has entered into a distribution agreement with Sfera Labs, a leader in open-technology hardware and software solutions for professional automation. Under the agreement, Industrial Shields will offer Sfera Labs’ flagship product lines, including the Strato Pi servers, Iono Pi PLC and I/O modules, and Exo Sense environmental sensors.

Sfera Labs develops certified, industry-ready platforms that bridge the gap between open-source ecosystems and professional-grade automation. Its solutions enable businesses to deploy flexible, scalable, and cost-effective systems based on Raspberry Pi and Arduino technologies, without compromising on reliability, compliance, or performance.

The Strato Pi range transforms standard Raspberry Pi computers into rugged industrial controllers, with advanced features such as fault tolerance, extended connectivity, and EMC and safety compliance. The recently introduced Strato Pi Max Modular Controller, with support for X2-Series expansion boards, offers unmatched flexibility for industrial automation projects.

The Iono Pi line provides robust PLC and I/O modules for applications ranging from building and industrial automation to data acquisition and security. Available in CPU-based versions for advanced networking and analytics, as well as MCU-based versions optimized for real-time and energy-efficient control, Iono Pi modules deliver both versatility and reliability.

The Exo Sense family of environmental monitoring devices integrates multiple sensors—including temperature, humidity, air quality, motion, and acoustic analysis—into compact, programmable units designed for smart building, IoT, and access control applications.
