At this year’s IAA Mobility in Munich, Vector Informatik is placing a clear focus on the advancement of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs). From September 9 to 12 in Hall B3, Booth D11, the company will showcase how software is shaping the future of mobility. The highlight: the SDV Tour—a guided exhibition experience that takes visitors through the key stages of modern vehicle development.
The Vector SDV Tour presents a continuous development process, demonstrating how software-defined vehicle functions – exemplified by an Emergency Braking App—can be implemented efficiently: from system architecture and software development to validation and vehicle integration. Vector experts will explain how established embedded technologies can be combined with new cloud-based development and testing methods. The emphasis is on a seamless development workflow that supports consistent and scalable implementation of complex vehicle software.
Beyond the SDV Tour, Vector further presents its Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) solutions and seamless approach in SIL/HIL Area. Visitors can explore how Vector’s SIL and HIL solutions ensure reliable and efficient ECU validation. Precise simulations and testing in controlled environments enhance ECU software quality, shorten development cycles and reduce overall costs. Together, SIL and HIL form a continuous validation chain tailored to the complexity and performance requirements of modern vehicle software.
In the Partner Area, Vector highlights how collaborative technological expertise accelerates SDV development. With partners such as QNX and Synopsys, Vector demonstrates how harmonized products and solutions enable integrated workflows, consistent toolchains, and forward-looking development approaches. This close technological integration underscores the value of a holistic development strategy – one that manages the complexity of modern vehicle software and fosters efficient collaboration across system boundaries.
