The compact differential pressure transmitter DDPTH determines static pressures of 3 bar to 1000 bar. The differential pressure can be at a 1:10 ratio compared to the static pressure. It measures the pressures on the plus and minus sides and evaluates the pressure difference. The values are transmitted as standardized 4 … 20 mA in 2-wire technology to the control or regulation system.
As a standard the medium-wetted parts are made of stainless steel and are available in numerous process connections. Besides, medium-wetted parts can as well be obtained in several other materials.
Typical fields of application of the DDPTH are the monitoring of clogging filters, monitoring of pumps and flow measurement with a Venturi tube. For this application the output signal can be changed to square root. The transmitter can as well be used as reference point between two different processes.
