Deutschmann Automation celebrates 25 years of Deutschmann script language for simple programming of communication modules
Deutschmann Automation, the specialist for industrial data communication, looks back on a success story of the script language developed in-house by the company spanning more than 25 years. The self-explanatory Deutschmann script language allows flexible protocol connection between its UNIGATE communication modules like protocol converters, embedded solutions and gateway products, and different terminal devices. The programming of the powerful modules enables realization of even complex applications, which cannot be presented by a pure configuration.
The Deutschmann script language is characterized by a high degree of flexibility and complexity. To meet new requirements, the script language is continuously being developed, while maintaining compatibility across all versions.
The Deutschmann script language is the heart of the proven Software Protocol Developer. The development tool available free of charge from Deutschmann Automation is especially optimized for bus communication and is very easy to handle. Data exchange between the application and the bus system is controlled without needing to modify the end device’s firmware.
As additional service, Deutschmann Automation offers to write the script for customers for their application. The customer then receives the source code and can develop it further to carry out minor adaptations later by himself.
