Cynergy3, now part of Sensata Technologies, will showcase its new wireless-based pressure transmitter and receivers at the 2019 Smart Production Solutions (SPS) tradeshow, an international industrial automation event being held in Nuremberg, Germany from November 26th through the 28th.
Based on Cynergy3’s proven, industrial grade IPS and low-range IPSL series of pressure sensors, the new transmitters have a range of up to 750m and can communicate with either a single-channel receiver or, for multi-measurement systems, up to five-channel receivers.
The wireless design allows for a quicker, simplified installation in contrast to the additional time, expense and inconvenience of setting up ‘traditional’ hard-wired systems. Free configuration software is available for more complex systems.
Cynergy3 will feature its end-to-end Wireless Sensor Network solution, comprised of the IWPT Series wireless pressure sensor and receiver. Similarly, these products enjoy the benefit of low-cost, simple installation, and each of the pressure sensors is easily paired to the compatible IWR family of single or five-channel wireless receivers. This offers users a plug and play solution for their pressure measurement applications.
In addition, the exhibit will display the broad range of Sensata Technologies products designed specifically for industrial applications including Level Sensors, Temperature Sensors, Wireless Temperature Transducers and the new ACW4/TCW4 Hall effect sensors with I/O link. The ACW4 Single Turn and TCW4 Multi Turn Absolute Hall Effect Sensors feature an over-moulded, two-part modular construction that provides engineers with exceptional design flexibility.
