Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH, one of the leading broadline distributors of electronic components, and Su’scon headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, have signed a global distribution agreement.
Su’scon has more than 45 years of experience and expertise in aluminum electrolytic capacitors with a focus on the R&D and manufacturing of capacitors. The main products are aluminum electrolytic capacitors, polymer solid capacitors, and hybrid polymer capacitors. Su’scon’s in-house developed electrolytic capacitors focus on ultra-low and high temperature and long life and extremely low erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR).

The recently signed global partnership between Su’scon and Rutronik brings together two industry leaders. Rutronik customers will benefit from an enriched selection of globally available capacitors within Rutronik’s passive component portfolio.

“Su’scon’s philosophy is to continuously improve technology, innovation and sustainable operation, and gradually promote Sus’con toward the market and provide customers with global services. This requires a trusted partner like Rutronik,” said Edward Hsueh, Vice President Sales & Marketing at Su’scon. “We have a great product, and Rutronik has a strong global sales and marketing team and a long history in the automotive and industrial sectors. We appreciate Rutronik’s good reputation in the market and they are a trusted partner to us.”

“We are excited to start business with Su’scon as they have been established in the Asian market with high quality products for more than 40 years,” said Stefan Sutalo, Vice President Product Marketing Passive Components at Rutronik. “There is great potential for our customers in industrial and automotive applications in America, Asia, and Europe.”

Latest capacitor series for the automotive market

Su’scon’s UR Series is a radial-type aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed specifically for automotive applications. It is suitable for use in automotive thermal management systems and complies with the automotive specification AEC-Q200 standard. Key features include high temperature resistance, high ripple current capacity, long life, and a rated operating temperature of up to 135 °C. The SVB series is a SMD-type conductive polymer hybrid capacitor, also designed for automotive applications and meeting the AEC-Q200 standard. It features low impedance, high ripple current resistance, and long service life. The rated operating temperature can reach 125 °C, making it suitable for on-board chargers (OBC), battery management systems (BMS), motor microcontrollers, and other critical applications.
