Kontron Electronics, a leading full-service provider in the electronics industry, has launched its new Preferred Design-In Partner Program. The goal of this initiative is to develop and implement customized embedded solutions based on compact Systems-on-Module (SoM) using the Open Standard Module™ (OSM) Size-S form factor (30 mm x 30 mm).
As part of the Preferred Design-In Partner Program, Kontron Electronics collaborates with an exclusive partner in each country, who develops and implements customized Systems-on-Module (SoM) solutions for their customers based on the OSM standard. These SoMs are built on cutting-edge ARM processor architecture and offer all the benefits of the open standard: they enable vendor-independent, cost-effective development of custom embedded applications, reduce design risks, and significantly shorten time-to-market. This results in a flexible and future-proof platform that sustainably advances a wide range of industries – from automation and medical technology to modern IoT applications.
Kontron Electronics has more than 30 years of experience and has a long track record of reliable and long-term partnerships. As a full-service electronics provider, the company supports its Preferred Design-In Partners throughout the entire development process – from the initial concept idea and prototyping to manufacturing. If desired, Kontron Electronics also takes on series production of assemblies, thus overseeing the entire course of the project.
