HARTING is now cheering the DHB team on

The Technology Group is showing its colours at the European Championship / Main sponsor of the GWD Minden team of many years‘ standing

On this Thursday, the men’s national team of the German Handball Federation (DHB) will be opening the European Handball Championship, competing in the group match against the Netherlands in Trondheim, Norway (first throw 6:15 pm) and the HARTING Technology Group will be cheering the team on right from the very start.

HARTING – a worldwide leading provider of industrial connector technologies for the transmission of “power, signals and data“ – has been active as the official sponsor and premium partner of the DHB (German Handball Federation) mens‘ team, as well as for all the mens‘ youth and junior teams.  All of the teams sport the striking HARTING logo prominently on their national team shorts.

The Technology Group has been involved in the handball sport arena for many years, as the main sponsor of the German Federal League team GWD Minden, in addition to sponsoring handball projects, local handball clubs and as organizer of international youth matches and competition. HARTING is especially proud that Marian Michalczik, playing for GWD Minden since 2014, is on the 16-man strong national team.

The family owned and managed company is pleased to be supporting the DHB Team at the EHF EURO 2020 that is now taking place in Norway, Austria and Sweden, and has high hopes that the team will win through to the finals. “The Handball European Championshiip is an excellent opportunity to strengthen the HARTING brand across Europe and beyond,“ as Chairman Philip Harting commented.
