Single App Supports Mobile Reporting for Entire Combustion and Emissions Analyzer Portfolio
Bacharach, an industry expert in gas detection and analysis instrumentation for HVAC/R, announces a complimentary new mobile app for its hand-held combustion and emissions analyzer portfolio, including the PCA® 400, Fyrite Insight® Plus, and Fyrite InTech®. The new Combustion App allows technicians to easily generate and send customizable combustion reports from their Apple and Android devices. This new release will replace Bacharach’s previous Reporting App and PCA 400 App and is available in the Google Play Store for Android devices and in the App Store for iOS devices. Ideal for using when conducting combustion tests on furnaces, boilers, and engines, the new Combustion App is perfect for residential, commercial and other industrial combustion systems.
“The new Combustion App is a complete redesign and great improvement over our former Reporting App. Customers can now view and share their data in a completely different way,” said Dan Kelly, Product Manager, Combustion and Portable Instruments. “Users should find that combustion testing and reporting is easier and more efficient with the new app,” he said.
For the InTech® and Insight® Plus combustion analyzers, the app features a QR code scanner that obtains combustion data from a QR code that appears on the analyzer display screen and generates a report. The user simply scans the QR code with a mobile device and all the data is available for reporting and data sharing.
For the PCA 400, the app features Bluetooth connectivity that allows the user to view and save combustion data in real-time from their device, as well as remotely control the analyzer sample pump. Technicians can then email their reports from the field in PDF, CSV, or XML format using their mobile device.
Additional features include:

• Sending or sharing report files as an email attachment or to a cloud storage service
• Creating reports with up to 10 individual combustion data sets
• Including a comment with each saved combustion data set
