CL-L340 is a new series of power LEDs manufactured by Citizen – a Japanese manufacturer of high quality power LEDs. The CL-L430 series LEDs are designed to operate in applications where it is required to have high value luminous flux with the immediate high efficiency and minimization of occupied spaced, e.g. in case of manufacturing LED – based lamps. The series constitutes of LEDs with the power of 41W and the luminous flux of 4400lm. This is a very high value, especially when taking into consideration led’s dimensions – 28,5 × 28 × 5 × 1.4mm. As it can be seen, the efficiency of those circuits exceeds the value of 100lm/W. The efficiency of this level is not an impressive result for a 1W LED, however, in case of a 41W LED, when the efficiency decreases with the power increase, that value is sensational. Those optoelectronic elements have an additional advantage, which is very low thermal resistance reaching the value of up to 1°C/W. This series includes warm as well as cold white LEDs. Thanks to this, this series of LED can be used both indoors and outdoors.
