Fujitsu NAVI HDD available till the end of 2010


The 40GB – PATA 2.5″ high quality mobile hard disk drive from Fujitsu designed to operate in extreme environments is available at least till the end of 2010. Therefore Fujitsu is the only manufacturer of hard disks of this kind. The product is available at distributor Rutronik, the possibility of a last time buy will be offered. Automotive, aircraft, marine and industrial equipment manufacturers are demanding reliable data storage for GPS navigation systems, ruggedized computing, mobile surveillance systems and other outdoor applications, such as ATMs, point-of sale (POS) Systems and ticketing machines.
Engineered to perform in outdoor environments the MHW2040AC/E and MHW2060AC/E series retains the level of quality and reliability. These 2.5-inch, 4,200 RPM HDDs feature 40GB of storage, low power consumption and low acoustic noise. The hard disk drives designed to operate at temperatures as high as +85°C and as low as -30°C.
