The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA), an organization focused on accelerating the growth of the global semiconductor industry, and the National Microelectronics Institute (NMI), the trade association representing the semiconductor industry in the UK and Ireland, today jointly announced the signing of a collaborative memorandum of understanding to form an organizational alliance.
The organizational alliance sees the GSA and NMI actively supporting each other’s global and regional initiatives and activities and will focus on fostering business relationships and collaboration among member companies of both organizations. In addition, the GSA and NMI will determine technical and business areas of mutual interest and work collaboratively to address key issues and opportunities.
“We have already collaborated with the NMI on several initiatives and our organizations complement each other well by providing both global and regional expertise and we’re very pleased to officially form an organizational alliance,” said Jodi Shelton, co-founder and executive director of GSA. “Future collaboration will bring increased value and resources to our global semiconductor members.”
