The OPTIGA™ Trust X – SLS32AIA is based on an advanced security controller with built-in tamper proof NVM for secure storage and symmetric/asymmetric crypto engine to support ECC 256, AES-128 and SHA-256. The security controller comes with up to 10kB user memory that can be used to store X.509 certificates.
The security controller supports one-way authentication using ECDSA, secured communication via TLS/DTLS, and is compliant with the USB Type-C authentication standard.
Full system integration and preprogrammed key/certificate material reduce efforts for design, integration and deployment to a minimum. An extended temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and a standardized I2C interface in combination with a small PG-USON-10-2 footprint allow a simple integration in existing ecosystems.
The OPTIGA Trust X is ideally suited for a broad range of use cases, including mutual authentication, secured communication, datastore protection, lifecycle management, platform integrity protection and secured updates.
