TTIpulseCustom-built ruggedised power transformers from Pulse Electronics’ AS9100 production facility are now available to European customers through TTI, Inc., a world leading specialist distributor of electronic components. Pulse Electronics is a respected U.S. manufacturer of ruggedised custom transformers with over 20 years’ experience of supporting US military and aerospace customers across multiple hi-rel programmes. TTI Europe is delighted to partner with Pulse Electronics to bring built to print or designed to specification custom power transformers to European customers for their harsh environment and safety critical applications.

A key advantage of choosing custom power transformers is the avoidance of any risk of obsolescence. Pulse Electronics’ experienced engineering team can support all power conversion topologies and PFC chokes with leaded or unleaded terminations. There are no upfront NRE development charges and minimum order quantities are very low – just a few hundred pieces. Pulse will support several iterations as the PSU design develops and sampling for small volumes is entirely free of charge, with quick turnaround.

Pulse Electronics’ manufactures to ISO9002 and AS9100 standards. All technologies are supported, included Planar, wire wound and flat coil. Custom flyback transformers can be built with up to 20KW power rating, -55degC to +125degC operating temperature range and shock and vibration resistant to MIL-PRF27. Devices suit applications exposed to harsh environments found in aerospace, military, space and mining applications.
